Chaen told police that he had started digging in the morning after he attended the teenager’s funeral and managed to get inside the coffin.
He added that he couldn’t have sex with the body, as the coffin was too small.
Police officials, who found the necrophiliac sleeping on top of the body, said that it is unknown if the arrested individual knew the deceased when she was alive.
Chaen is known locally as a drug user and has even run naked around a pagoda.
