Delhi CM Kejriwal to visit Bihar on 27th August

"Kejriwal will be the chief guest," the official said, adding, “The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader will address a select group of intellectuals and students on good governance."

Bihar Minister Nitish Mishra gets additional charge of Social Welfare Department

Bihar Governor DY Patil has given the additional charge of the Social Welfare Department to Nitish Mishra with immediate effect, Principal Secretary (Cabinet Secretariat) Brajesh Mehrotra said in a notification on Wednesday.

   

The Governor had earlier on Wednesday accepted Parveen Amanullah's resignation letter after the same was forwarded to him for acceptance by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

   

Praveen Amanullah, daughter of former diplomat and Babri Mosque Action Committee member Syed Shahabuddin and wife of Parliamentary Affairs Secretary Afzal Amanullah, had resigned from Nitish Kumar-led JD-U government two days ago citing lack of transparency in system.
