Birthday special: Remembering dusky beauty Smita Patil

Born in Pune to a Maharashtrian politician Shivajirao Patil and a social worker mother, Patil graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune and made her film debut with Shyam Benegal's 'Charandas Chor' (1975). She died in 1986 at the age of 31 due to childbirth complications. Lets take a look at top 7 roles of her filmy career.

1. Bhumika (1977):  The role that established 22-year-old Smita Patil as an actress of extraordinary merit. It remains, arguably, her best work. Director Shyam Benegal scaled this film on a creatively ambitiously level. In Bhumika, she played the role of a well known Marathi stage and screen actress of 1940's Hansa Wadkar, who lived an unusual life in the search of love and identity. Smita portrayed both the roles amazingly. She looked very attractive in her simple cotton saris. She won her first National Film Award (Best Actress) for the Movie. Naseeruddin Shah, Amol Palekar, Amrish Puri and Anant Nag played the pivots around whom the life of the protagonist (played by Smita) revolved.

2. Chakra (1981): This film won Smita Patil yet another National Award for best actress after Bhumika. Chakra, a surprise box office success, was a strident wake up call, rousing us to the seemingly inescapable 'chakra' of fate that governs the lives of millions of Mumbai slumdwellers.

3. Aakrosh (1980): In 1980, Govind Nihalani, Aakrosh released, which won the National Film Award for best Feature Film and also got Golden  Peacock for the Best Film at the International Film Festival of India. Smita worked in  Govind Nihalani' Tamas and Ardh Satya also.

4. Namak Halaal (1982): Namak Halaal was not one of the most intellectually demanding roles of Smita's career. But, arguably, more people have seen Smita Patil in this super-successful film than in most of her other films put together. A white-sari clad Smita proved she could move with grace and do her own version of the rain dance in the superhit song Aaj Rapat Jaaye Toh Hamein Na Uthaiyo.

5. Arth (1983): Smita has done many different roles in her film career. She was not afraid to take on grey-tinged roles. In Arth, she played Kulbhushan Kharbanda's actress girlfriend, for whom he leaves his wife, Shabana Azmi.

6. Aakhir Kyon? (1985): Smita Patil did some remarkable work in off-beat films of the mid-1980s. J Om Prakash's Aakhir Kyon? is her most significant film from this period. The song Dushman Na Kare Dost Ne Woh Kaam Kiya Hai, was very well picturised theme song.

7. Mirch Masala (1987): Her arguably greatest and unfortunately final role came when Smita re-teamed with Ketan Mehta to play the feisty and fiery Sonbai in Mirch Masala (1987). Smita won raves for playing a spirited spice-factory worker who stands up against a lecherous petty official.

I love making others cry with my negative roles: Reshmi Ghosh

She says she loves characters with a negative angle. "I love to play negative roles and make others cry. Although it's different from my off screen image, it helps me to perform in unique way and destress myself," Reshmi said in an interview here.

Reshmi, who was crowned Miss India Earth in 2002, became a popular small screen face via her role as Bhoomi in the long-running soap 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'.

She went on to feature in shows like 'Karam Apnaa Apnaa', 'Kayamath' and 'Shobha Somnath Ki' and also tried her luck in Bollywood with 'From Sydney with Love'.

Now, she will be seen in 'Maharakshak Aryan', a superhero show, which will be aired on Zee TV starting from November 1.

Reshmi will don the role of Vishkanya for the show. Talking about the role, she said "Vishkanya is a very different role, which I have not done in the past. I was not ready for this role, but my husband (Siddharth Vasudev) advised me to do it. Vishkanya talks in a poetic way...the flavour, costume and the way she speaks caught hold of my attention."

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old is currently enjoying sharing screen with her husband and actor Siddharth in 'Buddha'.

The duo married in February 2013. She is glad that her husband is 'extremely professional'.

"He is a different person on the set. He doesn't allows me any leniency onscreen. When I need him, he is there for me like he is for other co-stars," she said.

Anushka Sharma poses with transistor in the new poster of PK

The motion poster which released on instant messaging app, Whatsapp, shows Anushka, clad in an oversize khaki uniform with a transistor slung on her shoulders.
The actress who reportedly plays a journalist in the flick took to Twitter to share the motion poster. “Miliye ab mujhse” she wrote along with the link of the motion poster.

"Confuje ho gaye? Main PK nahin hun. Mera naam hai Jagat Janini. Haan Jagat Janini,"she further wrote.

While the lead actor Aamir Khan, who seems all excited with the release of the fourth poster wrote “Ei dekha..... humaar Jaggu.... tiranjister ke saath...” with the link of the motion poster and added “Babaaaal machney wala hai!!! Jaggu bhi humre jaise tiranjister pahan kar poster ma? Babaaaaal machney wala hai !!!”

Aamir also features in various poster with Anushka, in myriad looks ranging from peeping out of bars, holding a briefcase while wearing a helmet, riding a scooter and a cycle as well.

The posters however are not enough to reveal what roles exactly Aamir and Anushka would essay, but the transistor which is roped in the posters certainly carries a mystery.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also casts Shushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.

The movie which has siphoned a lot of lime light much before its release, will hit the theaters on 19th December.

Facebook, Apple to pay female employees to freeze their eggs

The popular social networking site recently began covering egg freezing, while the technology giant would start in January, spokespeople for the companies said.

The firms appear to be the first major employers to offer this coverage for non-medical reasons.

While Apple covers costs under its fertility benefit, Facebook does it under its surrogacy benefit, both up to USD 20,000. Women at Facebook began taking advantage of the coverage this year.

While both firms offer benefits for fertility treatment and adoption, Facebook is famous for giving new parents USD 4,000 in so-called "baby cash" to use however they'd like.

The news comes amidst a raging debate over women pay in the fiercely competitive and male-dominated technology sector after Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella remarked that women employees should not ask for a pay raise but leave it on their "karma" to get their dues.

"Having a high-powered career and children is still a very hard thing to do," said Brigitte Adams, an egg-freezing advocate and founder of the patient forum Eggsurance.com.

Through the benefit, companies are investing in women and supporting them in carving out the lives they want, she said.

The option of freezing their eggs would give women the flexibility to put their fertility on hold while they focus on moving up in their careers and not having to worry about the ticking biological clock.

Given that it is a very expensive procedure with a price tag of over USD 10,000 for every round, not every women can afford the option to freeze the eggs.

"With notoriously male-dominated Silicon Valley firms competing to attract top female talent, the coverage may give Apple and Facebook a leg up among the many women who devote key childbearing years to building careers.

"Covering egg freezing can be viewed as a type of 'payback' for women's commitment," the report quoted fertility specialist in San Francisco Philip Chenette as saying.

The report said that while techniques and success rates are improving, there is no guarantee that medical procedure would lead to a baby in future.

"For many women, taking the step to boost their chances of having kids in the future is worth the uncertainty," it said.

On the flip side, egg-freezing coverage could be viewed as a ploy to entice women to "sell their souls to their employer, sacrificing childbearing years for the promise of promotion," the report added.

Nexus 6, 9 may hit Indian market soon; Android 5 Lollipop launched

Google has announced the new devices a day ahead of rival Apple, which is hosting a conference on October 16. Reports suggest that the Cupertino-based firm could unveil its latest iPad.

The Nexus 6 smartphone has been developed by Motorola and will be available for pre-order in late October and in stores in November.

The tablet Nexus 9 has been developed by HTC and will be available for pre-order on October 17 and in stores starting November 3.

According to sources, both the devices would be available in India in the month of November itself, in line with the global launch.

Apple, too, has launched its latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India within a month of its global launch to cash in on the multi-billion smart devices market here.

According to IDC, India is the fastest growing smartphone market in the world with over 44 million devices being sold last year alone.

Last month, Google had launched its first set of Android One smartphones here. India was the first country of launch for the affordable Android One smartphones in partnership with handset makers Spice, Micromax and Karbonn.

Google had indicated that many more firsts could come from India in the days to come.

"Advances in computing are driven at the intersection of hardware and software. That's why we've always introduced Nexus devices alongside our platform releases.

"Rather than creating software in the abstract, we work with hardware partners to build Nexus devices to help push the boundaries of what's possible," Google SVP Android, Chrome and Apps Sundar Pichai said in a blogpost.

"The Galaxy Note 4 is an example of Samsung's commitment to deliver iconic and differentiated products. The Note 4 is innovation with the combination of an enhanced S Pen, large and vivid display and superior productivity features to provide the most refined Galaxy experience to our customers," Samsung India VP (Mobile and IT) Asim Warsi told reporters here.

The phablet is hitting the market just ahead of Diwali and will face stiff competition from Apple's new devices – iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which will be available from October 17.

Facebook teeming with lonely hearts: Study

According to researchers, Facebook does not cause loneliness and people use the social network in an effort to feel more connected.

"Compared to non-lonely people, lonely people spend more time on Facebook. Lonely individuals who are shy or have low social support may turn to Facebook to compensate for their lack of social skills and/or social networks in face-to-face settings," explained Hayeon Song, assistant professor of communication at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in the US.

To reach the conclusion, the team analysed a collection of studies to find that a connection between Facebook and loneliness exists. They found that the lonelier someone is, the longer he or she spends time on Facebook.

"The interesting point of this study is that it both supports and corrects the original internet study, which is one of the most influential studies in internet research and was produced by researchers at the Carnegie Mellon University," stressed Song.

"To the question of whether or not the internet increases psychological dysfunctions such as loneliness, the internet study suggested that internet use has detrimental effects. Our study supports this in that internet use is associated with loneliness," Song maintained.

"However, we found the previously suggested causal direction to be erroneous: lonely people spend more time on the internet rather than internet use making people lonely," the reaearchers concluded.

Argentines use 'CityCop' mobile app to report crimes!

"CityCop has garnered some 130,000 users worldwide just three months after its launch. About 40,000 are in Argentina," software developer Federico Cella, head of the project, told EFE, adding that the country with the most users is Uruguay where the app was invented, while Brazil is third.

Once someone downloads the app, the new "citizen cop" can issue reports and share photos with the rest of the community about robberies, harassment and violence, vandalism and drug dealing, among other crimes, or pinpoint suspicious  activities.

Others on the network can see that report and interact with the person who posted it, in order to learn more details and exchange information.

"What is most interesting is that users can establish areas of interest, such as where they live, where they work, where the kids go to school... and then, even though the app is turned off, an alert is projected if something sinister is going on in those areas," Cella said.

The reports allow recurring patterns to be detected, he said, such as seeing "on the map every day at the same time that women driving their cars alone are assaulted at certain stoplights".

For that reason, CityCop providers are thinking about publishing infograms at the end of the month detailing the most repeated crimes and the areas where they are committed.

"Many incidents are not reported using the emergency phone number 911, so that no one ever knows about half of what is going on," said the software developer, who noted that as a result of using the app, many people take a different route when driving through the city.

Know how to make USD 500,000 a year on Twitter?

"I joined Twitter to follow Britney Spears. But I did not have anything to tweet about. So I figured, hey, tweeting these facts would be a really good idea. It was just so I could feel like I was closer to her," Sanchez told Fast Company.

This is how he makes his millions. A company called Social Reactor pairs social media influences with advertisers, supplies him with galleries or other web pages that Sanchez links to in his Tweets. He gets paid for every click those pages receive.

In his branded deals with companies like Ford and Paramount, a simple tweet, accompanied by a link and a hashtag, becomes a virtual slot machine, gushing out thousands of dollars.

Sanchez has also developed an UberFacts app that reportedly brings in USD 60,000 a week in ad revenue. The app has been downloaded 1.5 million times till date.

IRCTC launches official ticket booking Android app

The app can be used for various other services like checking reservation status, train schedules, train routes, ticket availability, ticket cancellation, booking history and recent history among others.

The 12MB 'IRCTC Connect' is available for free download on Google Play and can be downloaded on smartphones running Android 4.1 and above.

The app, which features ads, allows new users to directly register and also retains passenger details from recent bookings.

The app allows users to book tickets throughout the day execpt from 8am to 12noon because of Tatkal bookings and from 11:30pm to 12:30am when the service is closed for maintenance.

Railway passengers can book meals through SMS to 139 on a few selected trains on trial basis.

The SMS food service was made operational on six trains in Delhi-Amritsar section from September 25 as a pilot project.

Delhi-Pathankot Express, Katihar-Amritsar Express, Amritsar-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, Shane Punjab Express, New Delhi-Amritsar Express and Shaheed Express are being selected for trial of SMS food service.

According to the plan, one has to send an SMS to 139 along with the PNR number to book a meal.

"Passenger has to write just meal and then PNR number. Once the SMS is received the PNR number will be verified for the particular train, coach and seat position and the passenger will be contacted with the details of menu available," the official said.

Payment will be collected after delivery of the food at the designated seat.

The SMS food service is part of the e-catering service of the Railways which is facing an uphill task of improving food quality being served on trains.

"The SMS service will be extended to other trains depending on the trial results as our aim is to provide the passengers various options for availing food on trains," he said.

Besides the SMS, railways is also making available food through phone calls and for this two dedicated numbers have been provided for the catering purpose.

One can make a call to 1800 1034 139 or 0120-4383892-99 to book a meal.

During the trial, passengers will be served food at the five nominated stations - New Delhi, Delhi, Nizamuddin, Amritsar and Ludhiana only.

The food will be served from the IRCTC Food Plazas or Catering Units at the Delhi-Amritsar section.

New method makes it difficult to eavesdrop on phone calls

Professor Lars Ramkilde Knudsen from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) has invented a new method called dynamic encryption to ensure that all telephone calls are encrypted and eavesdroppers are unable to decrypt information in order to obtain secrets.

"Today, all telephone conversations are encrypted – ie converted into gibberish - but they are not encrypted all the way from phone to phone, and if a third party has access to one of the telephone masts through which the call passes, they can listen in," said Knudsen.

"And even if the conversation is encrypted - in principle - it is still possible to decrypt it provided you have sufficient computer power," he said.

The vast majority of telecommunications operators use the same encryption algorithm - the so-called AES.

The new method expands the AES algorithm with several layers which are never the same.

"When my phone calls you up, it selects a system on which to encrypt the conversation. Technically speaking, it adds more components to the known algorithm. The next time I call you, it chooses a different system and some new components," said Knudsen.

"The clever thing about it is that your phone can decrypt the information without knowing which system you have chosen. It is as if the person you are communicating with is continually changing language and yet you still understand," he said.

Because any eavesdroppers would have to decipher the encryption key and encryption method - and both are thrown away by the phone after each call and replaced by a new combination - the conversation is extremely difficult to decrypt when dynamically encrypted.

The new system can prove hugely effective in combating industrial espionage, said Knudsen.

Industrial espionage occurs when different players discover and steal trade secrets such as business plans from companies, technical know-how and research results, budgets and secret plans using phone tapping.

iPhone 6 Plus manufacturing costs Apple USD 215.60, retails it for USD 749: IHS

Apple said it sold more than 10 million of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models in their first three days on sale.
Both have larger screens than earlier iPhone models, and analysts say consumers like the new, bigger sizes. The Plus has a 5.5-inch screen, as measured diagonally, while the regular iPhone 6 is at 4.7 inches.

The new iPhones went on sale Friday and address a key advantage rival Android phones have long had: size. The iPhone has been Apple's main source of profits and is expected to remain so for at least the next year.

Apple will make more profit on the Plus version, according to a report from research firm IHS Technology. The full, no-contract price for the 16-gigabyte iPhone 6 is USD649. IHS estimates it costs Apple USD200.10 for materials and manufacturing. The iPhone 6 Plus retails for USD749 without a contract, but IHS says it costs Apple USD215.60.

With a two-year service contract with a wireless carrier, a 16-gigabyte iPhone 6 costs consumers USD200. An iPhone 6 Plus costs USD300 with a contract.

The Plus model also has a bigger battery and a slightly more expensive camera than the regular iPhone 6, according to IHS.

Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the report. The Cupertino, California, company usually doesn't disclose details of its manufacturing costs.

Apple starts iPhone 6 sales in key China market

Apple starts iPhone 6 sales in China market

Staff at an Apple Store in downtown Shanghai clapped and congratulated iPhone 6 customers as they left the shop, which opened two hours early for those who had pre-ordered.

Fashion industry worker Wang Xue picked out a gold-coloured iPhone 6 Plus, having used an iPhone 4 for the past four years.

"I like the design and everything about it," she said. "It's worth it to me to pay USD 998."

The new gadget hits shelves in China a day after the tech giant unveiled a new line-up of iPads in United States in a bid to face off tough competition in the cooling tablet market.

Apple's products enjoy a devoted following in China, the world's second-largest economy and the largest smartphone market according to an industry estimate.

It launched the large-screen iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 10 countries and regions on September 19, but could not do so in mainland China because it lacked a key network access licence.

Media have reported widespread smuggling of the new phone into China given its initial unavailability.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology granted permission late last month, but said it had pressed Apple to improve personal data security to gain approval and quoted US firm as saying it would do so.

The government agency said outside parties could obtain information stored on an iPhone by accessing a "trusted" computer or from an iPhone undergoing repair.

Now, an app for missing children

Officials of the regional Centre of the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) said the app will also be used to feed data regarding missing children in different languages.

Police and rights groups working for children will also be able to feed relevant data on to the portal directly, officials said.

According to the National Crime Research Bureau (NCRB), a child goes missing every one minute in the country and less than 25 percent make it back to their parents and family.

Apple unveils new iPads, Mac operating system

Introducing the latest gadgets at its new product event at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California, Apple CEO Tim Cook also announced that its new mobile payments system, Apple Pay, will launch Monday.

Phil Schiller, Apple's senior VP of worldwide marketing, said the iPad Air 2 features a new anti-reflective coating a first for a tablet. The iPad Air 2 also features an 8-megapixel iSight camera and a new-generation A8X chip, which has 3 billion transistors.

Schiller said that for the first time on an iPad, you can take do time lapse and slow-motion video. Apple also unveiled a slightly updated iPad Mini 3, which comes in silver, space gray and gold. Both the Mini and Air incorporate a Touch ID fingerprint sensor for security, a feature that has been available on iPhones since last year.

Apple said the new iPad Air 2 will sell for USD 499, and the smaller iPad Mini 3 will start at USD399. Pre-orders begin on Friday. Cook said 500 banks and many of the largest retailers in the world have agreed to support the Apple Pay digital payment system, which is already available on the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

"It's been an incredible year and tremendously busy already," Cook said claiming the new iPhones were the fastest-selling in Apple's history."This is the strongest lineup of products Apple has ever had," he added.

Craig Federighi, senior VP of Mac Software Engineering, also touted the new features of iOS 8 and its new Mac operating system, Yosemite, calling them the "most advanced operating system on the planet."

"What really sets iOS apart is the incredible technologies it puts in the hands of our developers," Federighi said. Schiller also announced that the high-resolution Retina 5K display is coming to the iMac, saying Apple has built an "iMac with the most incredible display we've ever made."

Xiaomi hits back over Apple's 'theft' accusation

Responding to Apple's design head Jony Ive's accusation that Xiaomi has stolen iPhone technology, President Lin Bin said Ive should use a Xiamomi phone to know the difference between the two gadgets.

"Xiaomi is a very open company, which would never force anyone to use its products. However, one can only judge Xiaomi's gadgets after he or she has used them," Lin was quoted as saying.

"I'm very willing to give a Xiaomi cell phone to him [Jony Ive] as present, and I look forward to hearing his remarks after he uses it," Lin said.

While responding to a question in San Francisco on Thursday about common features between the two phones, Ive said, "I don't see it as flattery. I see it as theft, and it's lazy. I don't think it's ok at all".

Xiaomi surpassed Samsung and Apple to become the biggest smartphone maker in China in the second quarter of this year, according to a report from Canalys.

Lin said the biggest challenge for Xiaomi currently was to increase its productivity.

In the first half of the year, Xiaomi produced 26 million cell phones and is expected to cross a total of over 60 million this year.

"At present, we can produce 6 to 7 million cell phones each month, and we will continuously improve that," Lin said.

Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, said yesterday that Xiaomi would not go public in the next five years.

Type with one hand with new app on iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus

Aptly called One Handed Keyboard, the app displays what it claims to be the same size of keyboard iPhone users are accustomed to.

The keyboard offers only a smaller keyboard that docks to either side of the screen, with extra controls to adjust the theme or colour of the keys, CNET reported.

What the app does not provide is an auto-correct library. So whenever you type something incorrect, the iOS devices cannot correct it.

According to its developers, this feature will be added soon to the app. Users can activate the keyboard in the settings, media reports said.

India can be a tough market for Google's Android One: IDC

Last month, Google launched Android One range of devices in partnership with Indian handset makers Micromax, Karbonn and Spice and mobile operators like Airtel and Reliance. The smart phones are priced Rs 6,399 onwards.

"Despite significant marketing spend already in evidence on Android One, IDC believes India will be a tough crucible for Google. Blocked out of China, Google has no choice but to make a large downstream investment in the Next Billion consumer segment in India," the research firm said.

India is the first country where the California-based firm's Android One devices have been launched. Roll out across other markets like Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan,Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri-Lanka will follow in coming months.

Success in this segment will greatly enhance their ability to leverage Android to drive adoption by the Next Billion of the Google consumer cloud, it added.    "IDC believes that Android One is crucial for Google to execute on its strategy to leverage the fast-growing Android user base to drive engagement for its increasing portfolio of essential Google services, including search, Maps, Google Now and others," it said.

A consistent user experience, or at least a vastly improved one, will greatly increase engagement and ultimately revenues, IDC added.

The research firm said it expects Android One will attract significant sales and redefine the affordable smart phone segment by reshaping the mid tier with a range of devices that
feature good enough device specifications for a fraction of the price compared to flagship devices.

It added that Android One will go further and effectively create a bipolar pear shaped environment where the high end will be dominated by the likes of Apple and Samsung with their iPhone and Galaxy flagship devices and the low end will increasingly converge around USD 100 Average Selling Price (ASP) benchmark.

1,00,000 Redmi 1S for sale on Flipkart tomorrow

Flipkart already has 300,000 registrations for tomorrow's sale. The deadline to register in order to grab a Redmi is Monday midnight.

However the company made assurances in September that October would see much larger quantities of its smartphones coming to India owing to consumers who had been trying multiple times without success and also in line with the Diwali festive season which seen increased spending and purchases from consumers.

Earlier this week, the Chinese OEM put up a total of 1,50,000 phones of Xiaomi Redmi 1S on Flipkart.

The Mi 3 smartphone has been permanently discontinued in India. The final sale took place earlier this week where 25,000 units were put up for sale.

However the Mi 4 flagship is likely to launch in India by the end of November or in December, while the Redmi Note phablet should make its debut any day now.

Pakistani film industry is on a revival course: Fawad Khan

The actor forayed into movies at a time when Pakistan's film industry was in absolute doldrums.

"When I did 'Khuda Kay Liye', it was one of the few films being made in the country. The fact that it went on to earn itself so much recognition across the world was totally unforeseen,” said the actor.

“It is only now that the Pakistani film industry is on a revival course. There is some quality work happening and I am glad to be part of it," he added.

It was the much evolved television industry in Pakistan, which helped him make up his mind about acting career.

"I got some wonderful opportunities on television and they helped me discover the actor within me. It was because I did television that I knew I wanted to be an actor. Even Shoaib Mansoor with whom I made my movie debut in 'Khuda Kay Liye' has his roots in television. And it shows in his writing," said Fawad.
The star of hit TV shows like ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ makes his Bollywood debut alongside the very spirited Sonam Kapoor in ‘Khoobsurat’, coming out on Friday.

And he looks forward to a career in Bollywood, but admits he is new to the entire concept of promoting a film.

"In Pakistan promoting films is yet to become a trend. I would shoot a film and be done with it. It's only now after doing 'Khoobsurat' in India that I realize how important the promotion of a film is. And I'm trying to get a grip on the whole process. Film promotion is an entirely new science for me," he said.
So is he planning to balance out a career in Pakistan and India?

"I was never much of a planner. So, I really can't say what the future holds for me. Yes, I do hope to do other Bollywood films after 'Khoobsurat'," said Fawad who has been a singer and actor for about 14 years.
"Yes! It has been that long. I was just a youngster in college trying to escape the drudgery of studies when I drifted into music and acting. At that time I wasn't sure I was interested in acting. I was only sure that I was disinterested in studies,” he added.
